Description In the last ten years, logistic service providers provide a complete service towards their customers, Starting with warehousing and transport, they also currently offer complete VMI and complete visibility, using RFID and PDA techniques. The high level in service and availability with on the other hand the strong need for low storage and transportation cost requires strong tools to optimize this.

Challenge The optimal loading of pallets, containers and trailers, using the warehouse layout with the picking sequence, complex stacking rules and loading / unloading sequence into account. Can we compute the number of pallets or roll containers directly when taking the order, or when making proposals towards customers?
