International Innovation and Success Earn ORTEC Top 40 Award
ORTEC, the leading advanced planning and optimization solutions Company, announced they have been selected as one of the Top 40 Innovative Technology companies in Georgia by the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the State’s leading technology organization. The Technology Summit was held March 24 at the Cobb Galleria Centre.
TAG’s Top 40 is chosen based on a number of criteria, including: degree of innovation; scope and financial impact of innovation; likelihood of success; and promotion of Georgia's innovative efforts nationally and internationally. Companies selected for the Top 40 participate in a showcase exhibit at the Georgia Technology Summit--attracting approximately 1000 of the State's technology leaders.
"Our congratulations to ORTEC for making this year's Top 40 list,” said Tino Mantella, president of TAG. “Every year the Top 40 competition is one of the highlights of the Georgia Technology Summit, and this year is no exception.”
“It is a tremendous honor to be recognized as one of Georgia’s Top Innovative Technology Companies,” said Corné Aantjes, President, ORTEC Americas. “Our company continues to focus on creating significant value for our customers through innovative ideas and superior solutions. This recognition validates our efforts and shows appreciation from our fellow technology leaders.”
ORTEC specializes in providing proven optimization technology to solve complex business problems in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, Transport and Oil/Gas/Chemical industries. They are committed to providing these industries with solutions that maximize the value of their transportation dollars by ensuring planners are efficiently and effectively loading and routing their resources. The ORTEC solutions result in: optimized vehicle and pallet loading; fleet routing and dispatch; workforce scheduling; delivery forecasting and network planning.
ORTEC provides the only technology that is embedded, not integrated, into SAP’s ERP. In contrast, typical integration to ERP is implemented with older technologies such as XML, file transfers, standard web services and other API protocols.
