27 July 2009
Ideal Stelrad Group has selected ORTEC Advanced Planning Solutions to both optimize their Supply Chain and further reduce their supply chain CO2 emissions.
ORTEC Advanced Planning Solutions were chosen following a rigorous selection process from a carefully prepared shortlist of 'best of breed' planning software providers. The ORTEC package beat off the competition as the only solution to meet the demands of Ideal Stelrad's business criteria for Advanced Planning.
About Ideal
The Ideal Stelrad Group is one of the world’s largest suppliers of central heating boilers and radiators. The company was the first major manufacturer to launch a high efficiency condensing boiler when it introduced the Ideal Turbo in 1985 and since then it has continued to develop innovative products, the latest being the next-generation Logic Combi and Logic+Combi.
Following a £4 million investment, these new boilers have been developed to meet all existing and future industry standards. They will match, and in many areas exceed, anything the competition currently has or is expected to offer.
Ideal Stelrad is also greatly increasing its presence in the renewables sector by launching two new natural source heating ranges – an air source heat pump, which is now available, and a ground source heat pump, which will be in the market place later this year. The company’s Ideal Solar range is already well proven, with its “on roof” and inset options enabling it to be installed as part of a new development, a refurbishment or as a retrofit installation.
Ideal Boilers is the only European boiler manufacturer that has been recognised as a ‘World Class Manufacturer’, and its sister company, Stelrad Radiators, is the UK market leader in radiators, with the widest range and in more sizes than any other manufacturer.
