At this year's INNOVATIONSPREIS-IT (Innovation Award) ceremony for SMEs, ORTEC gained a place among the top 20 IT solutions with ORTEC LEO (ORTEC Logistics Execution Optimizer), the smart scheduling and optimization software for the distribution and trade sector, and intralogistic applications in SAP environments.
This success is a testament to the many years of experience SAP software and service partner ORTEC has in the improvement of supply chain and business processes, and the implementation of SAP solutions. For SMEs in particular, ORTEC LEO impressively succeeds in combining the specific, individual processes and scheduling requirements with the need for integrated and standardized process optimization in SAP ERP.
ORTEC LEO offers first-rate, tried-and-tested solutions for pallet and loading optimization (Order Picking and Freighting) and routing (Transport), which accelerate the scheduling process and significantly improve quality by means of mathematical methods. What?s more, with the aid of a SAP-certified add-on, the processes can be directly integrated in the SAP application scenarios for the Order Entry Service Desk and completion of orders.
