Large SAP hospital opts for compliant scheduling with ORTEC
Haga Hospital, one of the largest hospitals in the Netherlands, is set to schedule its 3600 employees with the workforce scheduling solution, ORTEC Harmony. As the largest user of SAP in the Dutch hospital sector, Haga Hospital stipulated that the solution must have a proven interface with SAP HRM. “ORTEC met this requirement,” states Hans Krikke, Haga Hospital’s HR Manager, “and that was the deciding factor for us.”

ORTEC study at Dutch charity foundation proves: Fewer fundraisers in Large towns and cities
The results of an analysis conducted by ORTEC - free of charge -, show that there are relatively fewer fundraising collectors in large Dutch towns and cities and therefore less money is being collected in these parts. “The results seem contradictory because you would expect charities to be able to generate more income from larger urban areas,” according to Ronald Buitenhek, project manager at ORTEC. The analysis, conducted free of charge, examined the Jantje Beton 2008 collection figures.

ORTEC TSS: Preliminary analysis of the WC final based on effectivity
The final match of the 2010 world cup championship promises to be an exciting contest. Neither of the finalists has previously won the title and based on the analyses of ORTEC TSS, it seems that both teams are fairly evenly matched. Based on the In the match against Germany, Spain kept the upper hand throughout most of the game. The Spanish team not only dominated their opponent’s half of the pitch, but also came out an average of 2 points higher than the Germans on overall match performance ratings.
