Consumer Goods Technology Editors Cite ORTEC for the 2010 Annual Award
ATLANTA, GA February 17, 2010 - ORTEC, the leading advanced planning and optimization solutions company, announced they were selected for inclusion in the January 2010 Consumer Goods Technology (CGT) Readers Choice Awards for the fourth consecutive year. Selected for the Editors' Pick section, ORTEC was recognized as a supplier that offers business-to-business planning and optimization solutions that enable improved performance accross the supply chain.

For the tenth year in a row, CGT asked its subscriber base to identify solutions and service providers that are most valued across 10 categories. The results of the 2010 Readers' Choice Servey may be more valuable than ever as executives reevaluate theair company's business and technology choices currtently in place and those being considered for the future. The "Editors' Pick" section was created to recognize companies that offer additional or unique support to a supply chain, sales and marketing and innovation strategies.

Exactly 165 consumer goods executives were polled to determine the results of this year's CGT survey. Fifty-six percent of the organizations surveyed have annual revenues exceeding $1 billion. The firms selected in the Editors Pick section are making a ‘respectable impact’ on the industry as they help consumer goods (CG) companies enhance business processes and IT capabilities.
