AB-InbevadinbevAB-InBev, a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch AB-InBev, is the leading global brewer and one of the world’s top five consumer products companies. Anheuser-Busch InBev holds nearly 300 brands with four of the top ten selling beers in the world. Anheuser-Busch AB-InBev is headquartered in Leuven, Belgium. AB-InBev was created in 2004 from the merger of the Belgian company Interbrew and the Brazilian company AmBev. The acquisition in 2008 of Anheuser-Busch would create a new company to be named Anheuser-Busch InBev. Interbrew's roots can be traced back to 1366 in Den Horen in Leuven when the Artois brewery was founded.
